Welcome to the Hathaway Ranch & Oil Museum, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to preserving early twentieth century farming, ranching and oil culture of Fulton Wells, which later became Santa Fe Springs, California.
Housed on five acres of the former Hathaway Home Ranch, with extensive collections of machinery, various miscellany of daily living, photographs and ephemera, the Museum displays these artifacts on the very property that housed them. Through hands-on and immersive exhibits and tours, we honor the independent and hard-working spirit of the early pioneers and settlers of Southern California.
Incorporated in 1986 by F. Nadine Hathaway, we are maintained through donations from individuals and organizations, and through the dedication and labor of our volunteers.
